FAQ's
How can I pay for my photography session? Here is the link to book and pay for your session. This session fee is required at time of booking to hold your spot.
Can we do an extended family shoot? The more the merrier! Our family session includes an immediate family of those booking. When additional family members are added in there will be an additional charge of $100 per family (5+ members). Grandma and Grandpa are graciously free of charge, as they created this wonderful bunch!
Can I squeeze in my head shots? Yes, of course! If I'm there with a camera, take advantage of the opportunity to update your professional profile. There will be an additional $100 fee added which includes 3 professional head shots.
What should we wear? This is the most common question! After booking, I will send you information to make this as easy as possible. Included in this email will be shopping suggestions, tips and tricks for getting the best look, and a link to our Pinterest Board so you feel comfortable, confident, and prepared for your shoot.
Where should we take our pictures and at what time? I will commute to you, your home, or any of my suggested locations. There are many Dupage area forest preserves and parks in which I have permits and access too. The suggestions are often based on necessary permits. If there is a suggested location in which a permit will be to be purchased, this permit fee will be included in the final session price. Time of day does determine our sunlight. If we plan to be outside, I am mindful of the highest sun times and we'll plan to shoot early in the morning or later in the afternoon. We will always work around nap times of our little ones as well!
What if it rains? Mother Nature helps those colors look perfect so I can't get upset with her. However, I do understand there's always a possibility for rain and inclement weather. If the photo session is primarily outside we can 1) suggest an in home or in door location and/or 2) schedule a different date agreed upon.
