A beautiful backdrop to fall in love! I love spending the day with newly engaged couples. You can literally just feel the love they have for each other and see the excitement for their new lives together. Engagement sessions typically start out a little new and fresh, but once we get to know each other and know their story their connection makes for wonderful pictures to display in their new home and showcase for their invitations or online planning sites like, The Knot. This Chicago based couple really love their city. We were able to check out Lincoln Park and manage time to head down to their work for a quick outfit change, but also to capture just this time in their lives. What a fun moment to be able to take images on the steps of your company that you both grow at individually and as a newly married couple as well. It is not every day you have paparazzi following you around and asking you to hold hands or give a little smooch. But with a sprinkle of good old-fashioned laughter and genuine interest in this beautiful couples story we were able to get the real them.
