Fully Edited.
What does that mean?

I write it on everything I send out to clients. I assume “they” (a mom, a dad, a teacher, accountant, lawyer, doctor, aka my clients) know what that implies. Edits can range from lighting corrections, exposures, smoothing skin, airbrushing, cropping, duplicating, down to removing a booger from a nostril….the list goes on. I love the details.

So editing to me is very important. I try my best to shoot with the best lighting aperture, but sometimes mother nature, or the location lighting is not at it’s best. I need to get the best shot and review my settings to prepare for edits. There are a few settings I know to stay completely away from or they will keep your images grainy looking. The specific image above shows the before and after of only the filling in of space. Typically I first edit in Light Room or Bridge and from there do final close up looks in Photoshop to address any finer details. In this case, I need to fill in the portion of dead tree to full pine tree. Magic!

Adobe in general gets me giddy-yes that is true. I have taught Adobe classes for over 8 years. I love every upgrade, every tool and I am still learning along the way. Software in general has been one of my gifts. When I taught high school I would sometimes have to learn a software over the summer to teach the course. Secretly (and geek-ly) I loved it.
